    £149.99 per professional. Individual training online to learn how to set up and run up bricks based therapy clubs/groups. Training online is approx 2 hours and 24 hours access is given. Each professional will need an account set up. Payment can be made for each staff member via invoice or directly online using debit/ credit card.

  • What is LEGO® bricks based therapy?

    LEGO® bricks based therapy aids in improving social interaction and communication skills for SEN, Autism and ASD.

  • Facilitator Training

    The course is for professionals to give them all the information they need to offer LEGO® bricks based therapy sessions.

  • Course Aims & Learning Outcomes

    You will learn: Fundamentals and principles behind LEGO® bricks based therapy Implementation to start using the approach of LEGO® bricks based therapy. Monitoring the progress of group members

  • Downloadable Content

    24 hours access is given. Included is downloadable content to keep and use in running sessions such as flashcards, badges/lanyards, placecards for roles and more.

  • Certificate

    Certificate awarded upon completion.

  • Instructor

    Donna Hussey in 2009 began studying on a PGCE to teach English but instead entered into education within SEN. From 2013-2014 she worked with autistic students in the ARP at Winchmore secondary school run by Durants school whilst working as a teaching assistant. This is where the idea for setting up BLU began she was trained in LEGO® brick based Therapy and launched in October 2014 starting with a half term workshop. Donna Hussey has worked with many schools since 2014 and offers training for LEGO® brick based Therapy.

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner wanting to do some CPD training for children and young people with ASD I thought I'd try the bluchildrensclub course for Lego Bricks Based Therapy. I didn't want anything too heavy but after speaking with Donna who was reassuring and offered after support I thought I'd give it a go! I was delighted at the content which was informative, not too heavy but to the point. And now I'm excited to have learnt a new skill set for my practice and which I will also be encouraging my staff members to undertake this training.

Thank you for this clear and concise Lego Therapy Training. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It was easy for me to understand and I enjoyed the good mixture of visual and audio accessibility, as well as the written content. As a dyslexic person, I appreciated the audio on each page to talk through the content. The audio, was again, clear and concise, which made the course inclusive and accessible for myself. The free downloadable resources at the end are fantastic and I will be using them alongside symbols for my individuals.
